Transportation of kitchen equipment from China to the Russian Federation
For two 40'HC containers (high-cube, with increased height) with a total volume of 132 CBM and weight of 15 tons, proper loading/stowage is critically important. The equipment is sensitive to point loads and vibration during transshipment. We developed a hybrid securing scheme. The sea leg was routed through a port with direct truck access, avoiding long‑term storage at the terminal to prevent mix‑ups and corrosion caused by humidity fluctuations. For the Russian road haulage stage, we selected trucks with straps fitted with soft padded linings. The 35‑day door‑to‑door timeline was achieved by synchronizing the vessel's schedule and pre‑booking trucks for unloading.
